The Aluminium 2024 Exhibition in Düsseldorf
From October 8-10, 2024, our team attended The Aluminium 2024 Exhibition in Düsseldorf - the largest international event dedicated to aluminium extrusion and processing technologies. At the exhibition, we showcased QForm UK Extrusion and the QExDD tool for die design in extrusion processes.
We were pleased to observe that our extrusion simulation products continue to lead the market, with many users, manufacturers, and businesses already utilizing QForm UK for development and design. This was reaffirmed multiple times throughout the event:
At our booth, we hosted a series of presentations and seminars, focusing on the latest updates and improvements in extrusion and forging simulation within our software.
Additionally, we awarded the diploma and the grand prize to the winner of the 2024 International Student Olympiad, Samuel Francis Taylor, a student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary). The prize and diploma were presented by Karl Grötzinger M.Sc., from the University of Stuttgart (Germany), Institute for Metal Forming Technology, Department of Bulk Metal Forming, a member of the Olympiad’s Scientific Committee and the winner of the first Olympiad in 2016.
Congratulations to the Olympiad winner, and we are glad that Samuel could join us at the exhibition.
The global trend to make forgings stronger and lighter is showing that the development of automated design systems as QForm UK Direct in addition to the simulation software is the right way of our progress.
