Hatebur Forging Machine maker is organizing their “Turkish Forming Technology Conference” again. This time, QForm UK, InSource Yazilim, and prosimalys are one of the partners for this event. We will present the latest developments in multistage hot forging simulation. It will become clear how easy it is to set-up a multistage forging operation in QForm UK, how fast and stable the simulation runs and how efficient the total QForm UK application is. With features like tool life fatigue simulation, QForm UK has a competetive edge against other packages. The other partners will talk about tool steel, lubrication and, obviously, forging machines.
ESAFORM is an association with the mission to stimulate applied and fundamental research in the field of material forming. Its annual conference, the International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming, is used to achieve one of the main goals of ESAFORM: to spread scientific and technological information related to material forming within academia and industry. The 28th International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming – ESAFORM 2025 – will be organized by the University of Salerno and the University of Calabria, on May 6 – 9, 2025, in Paestum, Italy.
Dr Nikolay Biba, Director of Micas Simulations Limited, and Tom Ellinghausen, Forge Technology, Inc., invite everyone to visit our booth. In addition to QFORM UK's work at the booth, where you can get consultations and answers to your questions, we will prepare a report "Optimize preform design and find and fix defects quickly with QForm UK's new forging simulation tools".
The Wire Networking Organization “Netzwerk Draht” will organize their yearly meeting on May 15, 2025. Several speakers from the wire industry (all wire materials: copper, tin, steel, aluminium, etc.) and their suppliers will present new technological developments. prosimalys GmbH is invited to speak about new developments in the simulation of wire production processes. We will show an overview of the different wire production technologies, e.g. extrusion, rolling, drawing, as well as insights into the simulation of heat treatment processes. Here, the new development of using AI-based grain size prediction models will be shown.
Announcing the Start of the 2025 International Students Olympiad on Metal Forming Processes!
Every year, we host the International Students Olympiad on Metal Forming Processes. Our goal is to support talented students and provide an opportunity to showcase their expertise in technology and simulation using QForm. The Olympiad is more than just a competition with valuable prizes—it’s a career launchpad and a standout addition to your professional portfolio.
In December, our team visited Vietnam to host QForm UK Seminars and present awards to the winners of the International Students Olympiad.
