Olympiad 2019
The International Students Olympiad in Hot Bulk Forging and Extrusion Technologies 2019 was arranged in April by 20 Organizers in 14 countries. This year 139 students from 40 universities participated in the competition.
Competition between students in hot bulk forging section consisted of the following steps: students got a drawing of an axisymmetric part after machining and designed the hot forged part and die impression for the final forging, determined the necessary technological chain for its manufacturing and then simulated the proposed forging process. We thank KB Schmiedetechnik for their help in preparation of the task for the Olympiad.

- 1 Place: Taleski Tashuli, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia)
- 2 Place: Goran Evgeniev Cvetanov, Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria)
- 3 Place tie Poland and Russia: Tin Brdnik, AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland) and Dmitry Karikh, South Ural State University (Russia)
